Richard Shuttleworth

Richard is one of the two founding Directors of Equilibrium Architects Ltd and has been instrumental in developing the commercial side of the practice, including health work, school work, offices and industrial schemes. He draws on 25 years of experience as a Chartered Architect and having worked on a number of significant projects for well known architectural practices throughout the country. Richard’s role includes the management of the company, along with the resourcing and coordination of projects within the office from design concept stage, through detail design to the management of construction of projects on site.

Vic Fletcher

Vic as co-founder of Equilibrium Architects Ltd has over 30 years of experience of working in Private Practice where he worked on a variety of significant projects ranging from social housing, Educational work and Commercial projects. Vic is also the Property Development Manager for Methodist Circuit’s of Manchester, Salford and Ashton, where he is responsible for the care, development and maintenance of over 100 Ecclesiastical buildings and Manses and advising on new projects.

Tony Waterhouse
Architectural Technologist

Tony is an Architectural Technician with over 35 years experience working in the construction industry, for both Architects and Estate Developers covering all areas of work from housing developments through to commercial schemes involving educational, office and industrial projects.

Mark Hubbard
Architectural Technologist

During his time at Equilibrium, Mark has gained considerable experience working on a large variety of construction schemes ranging from residential projects to large commercial schemes with a value of two million.

Ray Booth
Architect & CDM Coordinator

Ray is a qualified Architect with over 40 years experience in both the design and construction of buildings including a considerable amount of experience as a CDMC. He has worked as a Planning Supervisor / CDM Coordinator since the introduction of the first CDM Regulations in 1994 and now takes on the role of Principal Designer under the new CDM Regulations 2015. Ray is a member of the Association for Project Safety and takes an active role in promoting Health and Safety on construction projects.

alan Lee

Alan is a qualified Architect with 9 years experience working in the construction industry, as a Designer and as a Project Manager for a large developer. He is highly skilled in the use of specialist CAD programmes to develop drawing packages, presentations and 3D illustrations.

Beki Egerton

Beki takes an active role in all aspects of the management of the practice from human resources through to the coordination and control of the day to day running of the business. She plays a key role in the smooth running of the practice, including the administration and coordination of all project related information in connection with statutory submissions (for Planning and Building Regulations) and contract documentation. Beki is responsible for the coordination of continuing professional development for all staff within the practice and manages the RIBA Chartered Practice scheme which Equilibrium are an active member.
